Class 2 Driver - Paisley (Removals)We are currently recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver for a temporary, ad-hoc removals role based in Paisley to start work from 27th February 2026.?? Location: Paisley ?? Shifts Available: Monday to Friday ? Working Hours: 08:00 AM - 16:00 PM ?? Pay Rate: 15.00 per hour?? The RoleThis is a removals driving position, primarily focused on transporting goods safely from point A to point B. You will be responsible for ensuring items are delivered securely and professionally while maintaining excellent service standards.You will be working alongside a driver's mate, meaning the majority of heavy lifting will be supported. While the role is mainly driving-focused, you must be willing to assist your driver's mate with loading and unloading when required.Duties include:Driving a Class 2 vehicle for removals workTransporting household or commercial items between locationsWorking alongside a driver's mate on all jobsAssisting with loading and unloading as part of a teamDriving both boxed and curtain side vehicles comfortablyCompleting daily vehicle checks and ensuring paperwork is accurateProviding a professional and courteous service to customersThere is minimal handball expected from the driver, but a team-player attitude and willingness to help are essential.? RequirementsMust have held a Class 2 (Category C) licence for a minimum of 6 monthsAt least 3 months commercial Class 2 driving experienceComfortable driving boxed and curtain side vehiclesValid CPC & Digital Tachograph cardNo more than 6 penalty pointsNo major endorsements (DR, DD, IN)Willing to assist with removals duties when requiredReliable, punctual, and professionalStrong awareness of road safety and compliance??
