This part-time (30 hours) role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to balance leadership responsibility with work-life balance. Reporting to the Chair of the Board of Trustees, you will manage the day-to-day running of the store, lead staff and volunteers, and create a welcoming, well-organised and commercially successful environment. There is a really opportunity to make a difference to the physical store space but also longer term to create engaging and creative work shops.Key responsibilitiesLead, manage and support staff and volunteers, including recruitment and supervisionDeliver excellent customer service and donor experienceOversee merchandising, stock management, pricing and promotionsPlan rotas and ensure the store opens during agreed trading hoursMaintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and securityLead on Health & Safety compliance and risk assessmentsBuild relationships with customers, community groups and partnersOrganise and support events, promotions and local engagement activityManage cash handling, basic financial records and performance reportingAbout youYou will have:Experience in xjdpvnf retail management or a leadership role with transferable skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsA proactive, organised and customer-focused approachConfidence managing a diverse team of staff and volunteersEnergy, enthusiasm and an interest in sustainability or community impactSalary: 27,300 per annum (21,840 pro rata, based on 30 hours per week)Hours: 30 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday (every Sunday off)Location: OxfordBH35418
