Job DescriptionThis position offers an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to join our friendly, market-leading company within 3D printing. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence and contributing to the company's continued growth and success across the globe.As Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing and delivering on new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing relationships. You will have the opportunity to work with the biggest brands within the additive manufacturing sector and deliver solutions tailored to their needs.Who you are responsible to:This role reports to Head of Commercial.Main tasks of the jobMaintain and convert key existing OEM opportunitiesIdentify, develop and convert new business opportunities within extrusion-based 3D printing sectorBuild and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with our partnersConduct needs analyses to provide appropriate 3D printing solutionsCreate and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, working effectively with other departmentsEnsure timely submission of technical and commercial offersMaintain strong knowledge of the company's product portfolio and servicesAttend and represent the company at industry events and trade showsServe as an internal advocate for your customer accountEnsure successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectivesCollaborate with other departments across the business to achieve the aboveMaintain CRM funnel, follow up with customer and update recordsThe above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.Essential skills and experiencePassionate about delivering the best results for both the customer and the businessTechnically astute, with a problem-solving attitude and a hunger to learnSolid experience in B2B sales or business development, or in-depth knowledge of FDM 3D printing with sales and business development experienceExcellent presentation and communication skills with people whose first language isnt always EnglishProven track record of achieving sales targetsProficient in reporting KPIs both internally and externally to customersStrong commercial acumen and negotiation skillsProficiency in MS Office suiteEssential competenciesExcellent relationship building skillsProblem-solving and analytical capabilitiesProfessional and confident presentation mannerAn eye for detailA team player who embodies the companys core valuesStrategic thinking and planning abilitiesSelf-motivated with a results-driven approachExcellent time management and organisational skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlyDesirable skills and experienceEngineering background to facilitate collaboration internally and with the customerKnowledge of 3D printing technologies and applications especially within FDMExperience in technical salesRelevant industry qualifications or degreeExperience with CRM systems and sales reportingBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary, plus commission structure, and excellent benefits package including:25 days holiday per year (increasing to 28 days after 5 years continuous service) plus public/bank holidaysFree on-site parkingAn Employee Assistance Programme and virtual wellbeingLife assuranceCompany pension scheme500 CPD budget200 health & wellbeing allowanceCompany sick payCompany family-friendly leave pay24/7 virtual GP, second medical opinion and mental health supportBereavement counselling and probate helplinePlease note that due to the volume of anticipated responses, we will only contact candidates who are short-listed for interview.Note to Recruiters: we are recruiting directly, please do not contact us.Job Type: Full-time, PermanentPay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year, plus commissionSchedule: Monday to FridayWork Location: Hybrid remote in Oxfordshire, OX44 7RW
