Job Description Senior Quantity SurveyorWe have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join one of the most renowned regional main contractors in the region. The business is privately owned and has been established for over 100 years, operating out of several regional offices across the South of England. Typically they undertake projects across the heritage, commercial, education and student accommodation sectors valuing up to 30mil. As a result of continued growth in the region, they're now looking to expand the commercial team with an additional Senior Quantity Surveyor. About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing projects through pre-construction and delivery, working with and mentoring a more junior member of the commercial team. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager. Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor: Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tendersOversee the teams procurement / management of sub-contractor packagesDeal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may ariseLiaise with the clients teams Mentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional developmentKey Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role: Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNCHave experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account Be proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NECMust live in a commutable location to Oxford and be happy to visit office and site as requiredWhats on offer for this Senior Quantity Surveyor position: Salary: Up to 80k Exceptional package Excellent team culture Strong pipeline of projects in the region.
