Job DescriptionSenior Quantity Surveyors Major Scientific & Research Projects OxfordLocation: Oxford, UKSalary: 60,000 80,000 + 5,750 car allowance + travel expensesAdditional Package: Optional 1,800/month working away allowanceOur client, a specialist Frame Sub-Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex reinforced concrete (RC) frame packages on high-profile developments, is seeking two experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to support commercial delivery on major schemes in the Oxford area.These are high-value, technically complex projects within the science and research sectors, secured and set to run for at least two years on-site.The Role:You will be a key part of the commercial team, responsible for managing and controlling project costs throughout delivery. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with a leading contractor group on some of their flagship developments.Responsibilities include:Procurement and management of subcontractor packagesCost planning and financial reportingValuations, variations, and change controlContract administration (JCT)Cost/value reconciliation and risk managementSupporting site and delivery teams throughout the project lifecycleRequirements:Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor roleRC Frame experience is essentialExperience with subcontractor procurement and package managementStrong understanding of cost/value management and commercial riskBackground in large-scale commercial, industrial, or research/laboratory-type projects is advantageousAble to work collaboratively with clients, project teams, and subcontractorsWhats on Offer:Work with a well-regarded specialist contractor on prestigious UK projectsStable, long-term work on high-profile schemes in OxfordStrong internal career progression opportunities, including potential movement into main contracting rolesCompetitive package including car allowance, paid travel, and optional living away allowanceThis is an excellent opportunity for experienced QS professionals with RC Frame expertise to join a dynamic team on a technically rewarding project.
