Job Description Community Manager- Supported Housing & Homelessness ServicesOxfordFull Time - 37.5 hours per week (7-day rota)Salary: 45,000 - 50,000 per annum (DOE)PermanentAbout the roleWe are partnering with a well-established homelessness charity in Oxford to recruit an experienced Community Manager to lead a large supported accommodation service and play a key role within the senior leadership team.This is a senior, operational role overseeing a 24-bed supported housing project alongside additional move-on accommodation. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality housing management, safeguarding, support services and positive outcomes for people with lived experience of homelessness.This opportunity will suit an experienced manager from supported housing, homelessness, social care or charity settings who is passionate about enabling people to rebuild their lives through stability, meaningful activity and community.Key responsibilitiesOperational management of a 24-bed supported accommodation service and additional move-on housingLeadership, line management and development of support staff and volunteersOversight of safeguarding, risk management and psychologically informed environments (PIE)Ensuring high occupancy levels, effective referrals and timely move-on outcomesManaging needs assessments, support planning and casework systems (CRM)Working closely with social enterprise, learning & development and fundraising teamsHealth & Safety, facilities and premises managementOn-call rota participation and emergency response managementContributing to organisational strategy as part of the senior management teamAbout youYou will bring:Significant experience in a supported housing, homelessness or vulnerable adults settingProven leadership and people management experienceStrong knowledge of safeguarding, trauma informed practice and strengths based approachesExperience working with individuals with complex needs, including mental health and substance misuseExcellent communication, report-writing and stakeholder engagement skillsConfidence managing challenging situations calmly and professionallyA strong belief in equality, dignity and the potential of every individualDesirable experience includes:Housing management or supported accommodation qualificationsCRM systems such as Homeless Link In FormCharity, social enterprise or not-for-profit sector experienceWhat's on offerSalary of 45,000 - 50,000 per annum33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Employer pension contribution (up to 5%)Flexible working options (role-dependent)Enhanced wellbeing support and clinical supervisionComprehensive induction, training and developmentInclusive employer committed to fair and values-based recruitmentSafeguardingThis role involves working with adults at risk and is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
