Job Description HR Generalist (Maternity Cover Part Time)Location: Oxford / OxfordshireContract: Fixed-term maternity coverWorking pattern: Part-time, 3 days per weekStart Date - End April/Early May 2026 No recruitment agencies About the RoleHere at Passle, we are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Generalist to join us on a part-time basis to cover a period of maternity leave. This role will play a key part in supporting the business across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on recruitment, day-to-day HR operations, and partnering closely with our business Team Leads to provide practical, people-focused HR support.This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys balancing operational HR delivery with trusted advisory work in a growing, fast-paced tech environment. This role supports both our UK and US workforce. What is Passle? We help make thought leadership simple, scalable and effective, so Professional Services firms can be front of mind with their clients and prospects when it matters most.We help professional services firms achieve this with their clients and prospects, with regular, timely thought leadership, so they know they're getting the best in the business.Our clients include some of the worlds largest law and professional services firms including A&O Shearman, Deloitte, Freshfields & Linklaters.Key Responsibilities of the role:Recruitment & OnboardingManage end-to-end recruitment process, from role briefing through to offer and onboardingPartner with hiring managers to define role requirements, advise on hiring approaches, and ensure a smooth & enjoyable candidate experienceCoordinate interviews, offers, contracts, and onboarding processesHR OperationsOwn day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth and compliant people processesManage employee lifecycle activities including contracts, changes, leavers, and documentationMaintain accurate employee records and multiple HR systems ( including EORs)Work closely with our Accounts team to support monthly payroll processes & amendmentsEnsure HR policies and processes are followed consistently, including keeping track with UK & US/State Employment Law changes and making necessary adjustments & updates where neededBusiness Partnering & Employee SupportAct as a trusted HR partner to team leads, providing guidance on all people-related mattersSupport managers with performance management, employee relations matters, absence management, and development conversationsAdvise on HR best practice and employment legislation, escalating complex issues where appropriateGeneral HR & ProjectsSupport the delivery of HR initiatives and projects as requiredContribute to improving HR processes and employee experiencePromote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing cultureKey RequirementsProven experience in a HR Generalist role, ideally within a growing or fast-paced organisationExperience managing recruitment processes end-to-endSolid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practiceSome experience supporting US employees or working with US HR processes and employment lawsExperience partnering with managers and team leads to provide practical HR adviceHighly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesConfident communicator with a collaborative, approachable styleComfortable working independently in a part-time roleWhy Join Us?Flexible, part-time working (3 days per week)Opportunity to make a real impact during a key maternity cover periodCollaborative, supportive team environmentHybrid working with a base in/around OxfordWhat does the interview process look like?1st Stage - 45 minute video interview with Head of People & Talent ( Sarah Marwood)2nd Stage - 45 minute interview with Co-Founder & HR3rd Stage - In person interview at our Oxford office & chance for a meet & greet with members of the wider company About UsAt Passle, we believe in embracing diversity in all its forms and fostering an inclusive environment for all people to do their best work with us.
