Position Mechanical Engineer Salary 42,000 - 44,000 per annum Location Oxford, Oxfordshire Working Hours Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Reporting Into Engineering Manager TecRec are currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to work on a large commercial campus in Oxford. Our client was formed over 30 years ago and has now developed into a thriving independent building services engineering provider with an outstanding reputation in the market. This an excellent opportunity to join an established maintenance provider who invest both time and training into their employees. As a Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for providing planned & reactive maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining commercial buildings and looking to progress to Supervisor in the next couple of years. Location Oxford, Oxfordshire Due to the nature of some of the buildings the right candidate will be required to carry out and pass an enhanced DBS. Managing logbooks. This is a client facing role. There is a pool van onsite which is electric what you can take home and use for personal use. 11 commercial buildings on the Campus. No call out as covered by the mobile team. Responsible for ensuring effective diagnostic of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment. Record and document all work carried out and raise appropriate documentation as quotes as required. The ideal candidate must have good all-round building services knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience as well as qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Plumbing & Heating which will consist of the following; NVQ Level 2 & 3 in Plumbing & Heating, Mechanical Engineering etc. G3 Unvented Desired Mechanical AP Desired Mechanical Pressure Systems Desired Well, presented, strong communications skills & client facing.
