The role The Strategy & Finance Associate will be based primarily within the Component Engineering Division and will work closely with the Business Operations Director and the Director for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support the execution of the strategic vision. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional with 1-2 years of experience, ideally from a consulting background, who is eager to apply their analytical skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The position will combine several aspects of business management, with a primary focus on: - financial modelling and analysis - pricing analysis and support - customer-facing documentation and proposals - coordination of internal strategic projects As a hands-on contributor, you will support leadership in financial planning, strategic analysis, and operational excellence. Essential -1-2 years of post-university experience, ideally in strategy, management consulting, or corporate finance -An undergraduate degree 2:1 or above from a top university -Highly numerate with strong Excel skills and comfort with financial modelling -Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail -Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to create clear, professional documentation -Organised, proactive, and outcome-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities -Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment -Eager to learn, adaptable, and willing to take on new challenges Desirable -Experience with Power BI and / or other BI tools -Experience with managing complex stakeholder relationships -Degree in Engineering or another STEM subject -Interest in engineering, manufacturing and / or advanced materials This would suit an ambitious individual who has worked within the consulting sector and now wants to join an engineering and manufacturing start up and be an integral part of the team.
