This role is a unique opportunity to shape governance strategy for clinical and research data in a mission-driven environment focused on global health and innovation.The Opportunity:Youll work within a cross-functional environment alongside AI, Clinical, and IT teams to ensure robust data governance across a growing platform handling highly sensitive clinical, pharmaceutical, and research data. The organisation is scaling rapidly and is building a major new research and innovation campus in Oxford.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement data governance, privacy, and compliance frameworks.Ensure regulatory adherence (GDPR, HIPAA) across complex data pipelines.Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and researchers to embed data best practices.Lead governance for data partnerships with global healthcare and pharma organisations.Ensure auditability and ethical data use across AI and clinical environments.Essential Requirements:Proven experience in healthcare or clinical data environments.Deep understanding of GDPR, HIPAA, and healthcare-grade compliance.Experience with data governance, audit, and privacy frameworks.Collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-scaling, multidisciplinary team.About the Organisation:Our client is building a world-class ecosystem that brings together AI, synthetic biology, and clinical research to address global-scale challenges including pandemics, chronic disease, and food security.
