Their innovations are helping accelerate the global energy transition, with applications across clean energy, industrial manufacturing, and advanced electronics.The RoleWe are seeking a hands-on Electrochemical Lab Technician to support the development of advanced materials and components for electrolysis.This is a high-impact, practical role in a fast-paced lab environment, offering significant opportunities for learning, contribution, and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain electrochemical equipment (potentiostats, electrochemical cells, electrolyser systems)Fabricate catalyst-coated membranes (CCMs) and substrates (CCSs) for electrolysersAssemble MEAs and integrate them into electrolysis systems for performance testingConduct electrochemical tests (e.g. cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectroscopy, chronoamperometry)Design and modify experimental setups for electrolysers, fuel cells, and related systemsFormulate catalyst inks and apply coatings using advanced deposition techniques (spray, slot-die, decal transfer)Analyse test data to optimize performance, efficiency, and durabilitySupport the scale-up of electrochemical processes for commercial deploymentMaintain a clean and safe laboratory environment, ensuring compliance with safety proceduresTrack and manage lab inventory and consumablesCalibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain lab equipment to ensure reliable resultsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and share results to advance broader R&D goalsAbout YouYoure a technically minded, detail-oriented individual with a passion for experimental science and clean technology.
