Job Description Design Manager Structural Steel Oxford Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Full-time | PermanentAn established structural steel fabrication and engineering business is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead its design team across a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from major stadium structures to residential developments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the structural steel design team.Oversee the design process from concept through to fabrication.Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable.Review and approve drawings, models, and technical documentation.Attend site visits and project meetings when required.Ensure designs comply with industry standards and project specifications.RequirementsStrong experience within the structural steelwork industry.Background in design management, steel detailing, or structural design.Experience working with subcontractors and project stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects across commercial and residential sectors.Experience with Tekla or similar design software is desirable.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company delivering high-profile steelwork projects across the UK.
