Job Description CNC Setter OperatorAn opportunity is now available for an experienced CNC Setter Operator to join a manufacturer of high quality, specialist equipment.Based at the company's modern and well-equipped facility in Witney, the successful candidate will work within a small team and be responsible for the manufacture of a variety of components and associated tooling.Key Responsibilities:Setting 4 axis horizontal CNC millsOperating the equipment effectively, ensuring that the machine tools are working to the required standards.Ensure machines are correctly loaded and that the appropriate CNC program is being executed.Monitor tool life and adjust/change tools as necessary to the required specification to maintain component quality and tool longevity.Remove swarf, deburr for safe handling and de-water parts after machining.Engrave parts as required by Production Order.Maintain effective housekeeping of machine toolAssisting in stock control of materials, tooling, andSkills & Experience:Experience in setting and operating CNCExperience of reading and understanding Engineering drawings andProficiency in a range of measuring equipment and inspectionExperience in producing high quality close tolerance machinedExperience of working with qualityExperience of basic turning & millingA competitive salary and an excellent benefits package is available, along with continued training and development.
