So, whether it's already in place or just around the corner, now's the perfect time to join #teamOFG!About the RoleAs an SEN Teacher at Park School, you'll deliver high-quality, personalised teaching to pupils with a range of additional needs. You'll support individual and small-group learning, promote positive behaviour, and help create a structured, nurturing environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.Working collaboratively with colleagues, you'll plan, adapt and review learning to ensure every pupil makes meaningful progress and feels supported, valued and motivated.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, deliver and adapt lessons for individuals and small groups in line with the school's curriculum and policiesMonitor, assess, record and report on pupil progress, ensuring learning remains purposeful and responsiveDevelop, implement and review Individual Education Plans and behaviour support strategiesCreate a safe, engaging and well-organised classroom environmentPromote pupils' physical, educational, social and moral developmentCoordinate teaching, assessment and reporting across agreed subjects or key stagesAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is:Qualified: QTS (or equivalent) / PGCE, with a relevant degreeExperienced: Strong understanding of SEN, including ASC, learning difficulties and complex needsCompassionate & Resilient: Able to build trusting relationships with pupils who may have faced significant challengesCollaborative: A confident communicator who works well as part of a teamCreative & Flexible: Able to adapt approaches to meet individual learning needsAbout Park SchoolPark School is an independent specialist day school in Chipping Norton supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
