Mechanical Small Works Project Manager Location: Cambridgeshire Salary: 55,000 - 60,000 + Company Car/Car Allowance Type: Permanent We're working with a long-established M&E contractor with a strong presence across Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager or a Mechanical Site Manager who's ready to step up into a management role. The role: You'll be responsible for delivering mechanical small works projects typically valued up to 500K, covering schemes such as heating plant replacements, ventilation upgrades, and pipework installations for both principal contractors and end clients. Key responsibilities: Managing directly employed labour and subcontractors Client and stakeholder liaison Overseeing all aspects of project delivery including: Health & Safety compliance Procurement and programming Financial management and reporting Site quality audits and commissioning Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Qualifications & experience: HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering or alternatively time served/strong background in a mechanical trade ( plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC) SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (beneficial) Confident managing labour, subcontractors, and client Strong mechanical background with experience delivering small works projects Either an experienced Project Manager or a Mechanical Site Manager ready to step into management What's on offer: Salary - 55,000- 60,000 Car or allowance Full benefits package Immediate start available If you're a mechanically biased Project Manager looking for a new challenge, or a Site Manager ready to take that next step, we'd love to hear from you.
