Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are looking to strengthen our Commercial team with aSenior Quantity Surveyorbased at Oswestry, withhybrid working available .You will report directly to theCommercial Managerand will be responsible for theCommercial Management of Project(s) .Key responsibilities will include:Quantity surveying duties related to managing projects and work packagesLiaising with design, construction, and supply chain teams to capture, analyze, and control costsCollaborating with the client to ensure business requirements are metManaging the main contract, including identifying and raising contractual notices and correspondence as necessaryPreparing and issuing subcontract documentationAssisting in the management and performance of subcontractorsManaging the preparation and agreement of applications for paymentPreparing project cost & value reports, budgets, and forecastsAssisting in the management and development of junior commercial staffEnsuring continuous professional development by participating in external networking, conferences, associations, and groupsMaintaining a positive, solution-oriented approach and providing honest feedbackUndertaking additional duties, training, or hours as reasonably requiredPresenting a professional and positive image in all contacts and maintaining constructive relationshipsTaking steps to ensure confidentialityEssential requirements:Degree or equivalent qualificationWorking towards or holding chartered membership of a recognised institutionExperience in utilities, civil engineering, or MEICA sectorsNEC3 experienceDesirable:Experience in managing and developing an individual or small team#J-18808-Ljbffr
