Offering 'best in class' solutions across a wide range of equipment, their success is based upon a commitment to world leading manufacturing facilities, outstanding product innovation, excellent customer care and the recruitment and development of good people.The Role Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Water Treatment SystemsFollowing expansion, they seek to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer.Full responsibilities include:On-going maintenance of a large Ion Exchange water treatment plantLeading Maintenance ProjectsRefurbishment and fabrication of company parts and specific equipment including PVC and Stainless-Steel pipeworkFulfilment of facility maintenance tasksFault finding, installing, and maintaining instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow and level) through preventative and reactive maintenanceCalibrations and loop checking of instruments relating to the sites DCS/control systemsComplete testing of electrical circuits and panels, to ensure systems are safe and compliant with regulationsInstruments Calibration/ValidationUse Safety Risk Assessments and comply with these requirementsWork Overtime during evenings/mornings and weekends if requiredCustomer site visits if required (only expected in emergencies)Participate in trainings and team meetingsDo regular 5S/housekeeping activities on the siteParticipate in LEAN/KAIZEN activities on shop floorYour Background Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Water Treatment SystemsTo be considered for this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate a background working with electrical-mechanical equipment.General requirements for the role:Essential:Electrical qualifications (NVQ3 in electrical based units, City and Guilds Level 3 in electrical installations or equivalent)Computer literate in Microsoft Office packagesExperience in industrial electrical worksPreviously worked in Industrial area, assembly or another operational roleProved record of EHS and Quality awarenessExperience with 415V equipmentFabrications/Welding experience with PVC and stainless-steel pipework, valves, and fittingsAble to work individually or within a team of qualified fitters, fabricators/welders, and electriciansDesirable:City and Guilds 2391 Electrical testing and inspection18th Edition Wiring RegulationsExperience in the Water treatment industryThe Benefits Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Water Treatment SystemsThis is an excellent opportunity to join a world class water treatment equipment organisation.
