Teacher of Design Technology

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYWe are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of Design and Technology part time (three days a week), with the potential to also teach some Art lessons. This is a part-time post, working three days per week. This role is open to ECTs. The ideal candidate would be able to teach KS3 and KS4, and KS5 experience would be desirable as this post offers the opportunity to teach Product Design up to KS5. The successful candidate would be expected to be up to date with the latest processes and practices and be able to show evidence of recent relevant training. GCSE pupils currently study towards the AQA 3D Design, whilst KS5 are taught using the AQA Product Design specification. KS3 pupils gain experience in a wide range of areas including Electronics, Design, Graphics, Computer Aided manufacturing, Mechanisms and Food Technology.
