Your responsibilities will be split between domestic tasks and resident support: Domestic Duties: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home, including resident rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms. Perform cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces. Ensure laundry is collected, washed, dried, and returned to residents promptly and with care. Adhere to all health and safety and COSHH regulations. Support Worker Duties: Provide friendly companionship and engage in conversation with residents. Support residents at mealtimes, assisting with setting tables, serving meals, and providing gentle encouragement. Assist residents with low-level support needs, such as prompting with mobility or fetching personal items, always respecting their independence. Work alongside the care team to support the wellbeing of residents. Help set up and encourage residents to participate in activities and social events. Monitor and report any concerns about a resident's wellbeing or changes in their environment to a senior staff member. What Were Looking For: A compassionate, patient, and caring personality. A proactive and reliable approach, with pride in a job well done. Strong communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented attitude. Willingness to learn and follow procedures for cleaning and safety. Previous experience in a domestic, cleaning, or support role is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
