Job Description Accounts Payable / Finance AdministratorTemporary Role | ManchesterAn established professional services consultancy is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable / Finance Administrator to support its finance and project teams in Manchester. This role will sit within a busy project-based finance function, providing essential accounting and administrative support across a range of projects and stakeholders opportunity would suit a detail-oriented finance administrator who enjoys working in a fastpaced environment, managing multiple priorities and supporting project managers with financial administration.Key ResponsibilitiesDepending on experience, duties may include:Providing finance and project administration support to Project Managers across the UK & IrelandSetting up new projects by extracting and inputting key contractual and financial information into the accounting system, including: Contract values, budgets, scopes of service and fee structuresPayment terms and approval documentationProject rate schedules, mark-ups and invoice templatesReviewing and processing employee expense claims in line with deadlinesAssisting with the billing cycle: Producing and issuing pre-bill reportsApplying amendments as instructed by Project ManagersFinalising and submitting invoices with relevant supporting documentationSupporting accounts payable activity, including: Raising purchase ordersProcessing supplier invoices via online portalsLiaising with internal stakeholders to resolve queriesTracking accounts receivable and assisting with debtor follow-up via email and phoneProducing project and financial reports as requiredManaging internal project and proposal numbering systemsProviding ad-hoc administrative and finance support to project teamsSkills & Experience Required1-2 years' experience in finance administration, accounts payable, or project finance support (desirable)Ability to interpret contracts, proposals, and financial documentation accuratelyStrong written communication skills and attention to detailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced Excel skillsExperience using finance or ERP systems (e.
