Bakery Assistant (Full Time) Location: Oakham, Rutland Company: The Kitsch Hen About the Role The Kitsch Hen is looking for a Bakery Assistant to join their friendly bakery team in Oakham. This is a full-time role, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, creative work in a fast paced environment. Youll be working mainly with our fondant-iced biscuits, helping with decoration and finishing. Some experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred, but its not essential full training will be provided for the right person. Key Duties Icing and decorating biscuits with fondant Packaging the biscuits ready to be collected by our couriers. Keeping your work area clean and tidy in line with food hygiene standards Working closely with the team to meet daily production targets Requirements: Some bakery or food preparation experience preferred (but not vital) A good eye for detail, especially when decorating Reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic Able to work well as part of a team An interest in baking and creative food Efficient, problem solving approach.
