We are working exclusively with our client , a prestigious independent school, to recruit a skilled Building Services & Compliance Technician to join their experienced Estates team. This is a rare opportunity to work on a 120-acre estate that includes 75 buildings (23 listed Grade III), housing, retail, and light industrial properties, as well as extensive sports facilities and landscaped grounds. The Role As a Building Services & Compliance Technician , you will: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and inspections on emergency lighting, fire alarms, smoke detectors, evacuation alarms, ventilation units, and water systems. Use a CAFM system to log and update jobs, complete minor remedial works, and escalate issues when required. Support the wider maintenance team and external contractors, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and in line with health and safety protocols. About You Proven experience maintaining large or varied estates . Knowledge of CAFM systems (training available). A proactive, organised, and detail-focused approach. Comfortable working with heritage and listed buildings . Strong communication skills and basic IT knowledge.
