Mechanical Site Supervisor/ Foreman | Newport, WalesPerm or Contract We are seeking an experienced Mechanical "Black Hat" Site Supervisor/ Foreman to join a high-profile data centre project in Newport. This role involves managing a specific section of the build inside the facility, overseeing mechanical installations, and coordinating subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate all mechanical installations within your allocated sectionSupervise subcontractors and ensure works are carried out to specification and on programmeEnsure health 'safety compliance across the section, including conducting toolbox talks and risk assessmentsLiaise with site management, engineering, and commissioning teams to resolve issues quicklyMonitor progress, report updates, and maintain quality standardsManage day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth operations within your areaRequirementsProven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager / Black Hat SupervisorIdeally from a mechanical or building services backgroundPrevious experience on data centre, industrial, or large-scale MEP-heavy projects preferredStrong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water, and mechanical systemsExcellent organisational and leadership skillsAbility to manage subcontractors and coordinate with multiple stakeholdersRelevant safety qualifications (e.g. SSSTS, SMSTS, or equivalent)
