This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and supportive team within a firm known for its high-quality work in the construction and infrastructure sectors.About the RoleThe role is primarily focused on non-contentious construction matters, though there will be some involvement in contentious work as well. The successful candidate will work closely with international luxury retailers and global property companies to locally-based developers, leaseholders and freeholders.What the team do: Letters of intent and pre-construction service agreements.Building contracts and sub-contracts.Professional consultant appointments.Collateral warranties.Third party rights.Bonds and guarantees.Bespoke forms and framework agreements.Key Responsibilities Include:Advising on and drafting a variety of construction contracts.Managing non-contentious matters from instruction to completion.Supporting on contentious where needed.Building and maintaining strong client relationships.Actively contributing to business development and marketing initiatives.Mentoring junior team members as appropriate.What They’re Looking For:A UK-qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years' PQE in construction law.A strong background in non-contentious construction is essential.Some exposure to contentious work is beneficial but not mandatory.Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.Someone commercially astute, confident in client-facing situations, and proactive with business development.
