Cleaning and Catering ManagerLocation: Derby, DE22 3NEHours of work: 37.5Contract Type: PermanentWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced Patient Services Manager to lead and develop all services within your remit, ensuring seamless and consistent delivery across Patient Services.Based at the NHS Royal Derby Hospital, this is a pivotal role focused on upholding the highest standards in service delivery while aligning with the needs of both the client and the end users, patients, staff, and visitors.Job DescriptionYou will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining compliance, and delivering a consistently high-quality patient experience.This role requires a strong leader who can engage with stakeholders at all levels, inspire their teams, and ensure the service is responsive, compassionate, and efficient.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality servicesLead and manage day-to-day operations across Cleaning, Catering and associated servicesMonitor and maintain service performance, identifying areas for improvementSupport continuous change and service development to meet evolving stakeholder needsProvide clear direction and guidance to team leaders and frontline staffMaintain financial accountability and support budgetary controlsUnderstand and respond to the key challenges and opportunities within the contractProfessional and Personal Competencies/QualificationsHND/Degree in Hospitality, Business or related field preferred; Level 3 Food Hygiene required within 3 monthsExperience in a multi-site managerial role, ideally within healthcare cleaning/catering servicesProven leadership of diverse teams, including management-level staffStrong knowledge of National Cleaning Standards and healthcare service deliveryExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all levelsConfident in budget management, performance monitoring, and data interpretationAbility to stay calm under pressure, respond creatively to challenges, and work both independently and collaborativelyUK The CompanyISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
