Tax & Financial Reporting AnalystLocation: Fully Remote (UK-based)Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 per annumA well-established and innovative FinTech organisation, backed by over 30 years of global success is seeking a Tax and Financials Regulatory Analyst to join their UK team. With a strong international presence and a reputation for shaping the future of audit and accounting software, this company is continuing to expand its cloud-based product suite.In this role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the continued compliance of both Corporate Tax and Financial Reporting products with UK standards. You'll bridge the gap between regulation and technology interpreting legislation, translating requirements into product-ready specifications, and supporting the development teams in delivering compliant and user-focused solutions.Key Responsibilities:Corporate Tax ComplianceInterpret HMRC guidance, legislation, and schema updates to inform product requirements.Support the ongoing development and compliance of the corporate tax product.Engage with HMRC and internal stakeholders to stay ahead of regulatory changes.Contribute to the strategic roadmap for future tax integrations and services.Financial Reporting & XBRLCollaborate on the compliance of financial reporting tools with UK and ROI regulations, including the Companies Act and FRC standards.Maintain and enhance XBRL/iXBRL tagging aligned to current taxonomies.Translate disclosure and reporting requirements into clear technical specifications.Cross-functional CollaborationAct as a subject matter expert within agile product teams.Provide technical insight to developers, product managers, and internal stakeholders.Participate in sprint planning, testing, and training to support product delivery.Ideal Candidate Profile:Strong expertise in UK corporate tax (e.g. CT600) or statutory financial reporting (e.g. FRS 102, Companies House filings).Holds a recognised qualification: CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.Experience with XBRL/iXBRL tagging and familiarity with FRC or HMRC taxonomies.Ability to interpret complex legislation and translate it into structured, actionable product requirements.Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.A collaborative, analytical mindset and a passion for regulatory technology and digital transformation.Experience working with product or software teams is a plus but not required.Why Join?Be part of a pioneering FinTech company with a truly global footprint.Work on high-impact products used by tens of thousands of accounting professionals worldwide.Enjoy remote-first flexibility with occasional UK travel.Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.A highly collaborative, inclusive team environment with a focus on innovation and continuous learning.Career growth opportunities, recognition programs, and international project exposure.
