Job Description IT Program Manager EPOS Transformation Nottingham (3 days onsite minimum) 6-month initial contract (high likelihood of extension) Inside IR35OverviewWe are delivering a major EPOS replacement and retail systems transformation within a large, complex retail organisation.This is not a standard POS upgrade it is a multi-year, 20m+ transformation programme spanning core retail systems, integrations, and supply chain improvements.Currently in the planning and design phase, the programme will run for approximately 1824 months. We are seeking a delivery-focused IT Project Manager to take ownership of the IT workstream and drive execution through to delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn end-to-end IT project delivery for the EPOS transformation workstreamDefine and manage delivery plans, roadmap, sequencing, and dependenciesTrack and control budgets, costs, and financial governanceCoordinate delivery across multiple IT domains, including:EPOS replacementStock management / inventory systemsIntegration with new and existing core platformsWork closely with architecture and engineering teams (exposure to HLD, not hands-on design)Manage third-party vendors and internal stakeholdersEnsure alignment with programme milestones and business objectivesOperate effectively within a large-scale, enterprise IT environmentKey RequirementsProven track record delivering large-scale (20m+) IT programmesStrong background as a core IT Project Manager (delivery-focused, not change/comms-led)Experience in retail systems and/or supply chain environmentsExcellent planning, governance, and cost control capabilityExperience managing multiple workstreams, vendors, and complex dependenciesComfortable working onsite and embedded within delivery teamsNice to HaveEPOS / POS transformation experienceExperience working within large retail organisationsExposure to end-to-end retail operations or supply chain systemsNot in ScopeChange communicationsTraining deliveryOrganisational change managementWhy JoinBusiness-critical transformation with high visibilityLong-term programme with strong extension potentialOpportunity to lead a core IT workstream within a 20m+ initiativeStable, structured delivery environment
