We are working with our client, based in Nottingham to find a hands-on Manufacturing Supervisor. Working Hours Monday to Thursday 7am - 5pm Fridays off (3 day weekend) What Youll Be Doing Leading day-to-day operations across Platinum 1, Platinum 2, and Braid Rooms. Boosting productivity and efficiency by driving SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) and OEE performance. Taking ownership of action plans and ensuring deadlines are met. Running Root Cause Analysis, driving Corrective Actions, and embedding Continuous Improvements. Maintaining 5S standards and hosting Go Gemba audits. Ensuring the daily Extrusion Man Plan is completed. Managing ERP and Shop Trak transactions with accuracy and accountability. Working closely with Final Operations to keep product flow seamless and customer orders delivered on time, in full. What Were Looking For Extrusion industry knowledge (preferable, not essential) Previous experience as a supervisor/team leader in manufacturing or production. A solid understanding of SQDC, OEE, and lean principles. Confidence in problem-solving, Root Cause Analysis, and delivering Corrective Actions. Knowledge of ERP systems and shop floor tracking tools (e.g., Shop Trak). Excellent organisation, communication, and leadership skills. A proactive approach with a drive for continuous improvement.
