Solutions Architect

Job Description Location: Nottingham (3 days office, 2 days remote)Role Overview:Design IT systems that meet business requirements and align with overall strategy and architecture. Act as an expert within your portfolio, evaluating and recommending solutions for optimal outcomes. Work independently on low complexity projects and with limited supervision on more complex initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Assess business ideas, scope projects, and support feasibility analysis and estimationDefine and catalogue functional and non-functional requirementsProduce high-level and detailed system designs, ensuring alignment with business needs and IT strategyAct as Technical Design Authority, supervising and reviewing designs from team members and partnersBuild strong relationships with business and IT stakeholdersStay current with industry trends and best practicesShare knowledge, onboard new team members, and help maintain design standards and patternsPerformance Measures:Timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of designsAccuracy and improvement of project estimatesFeedback from design reviews, stakeholders, and team membersQuality of collaboration and support providedSkills & Experience:Essential:Broad understanding of IT capabilities, methods, and technologiesStrong experience in designing and developing IT solutionsAbility to influence stakeholders on solution decisionsDesirable:Experience with onshore/offshore teamsExperience in retail or similar sectorsExpert knowledge of business processes (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain)What We Offer:Competitive salary package.Medical insurance.Flexible schedule.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Modern office space in Nottingham with easy access to transport.Were grateful for your interest in joining our team.
