Job DescriptionStaffing Manager UK My clients work with dozens of Bars and Nightclubs across the UK providing drinks services, hosting and entertainment.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a UK staffing manager - your role requires proactive leadership, operational oversight, and clear communication across all touchpoints. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:1. Team Leadership & SupportOversee the UK team to ensure all scheduled venues are fully staffed and supported from Wednesday through Sunday.Provide regular 1:1 check-ins with team members to offer guidance, resolve issues, and monitor wellbeing and performance.Lead the development of a positive and professional team culture, including organising staff socials and team-building activities.Deliver onboarding and ongoing support for new joiners and arrange retraining for staff underperforming in sales.2. Operational ManagementEnsure sales breakdowns are submitted promptly and accurately, including clear photographic evidence of bottle counts.Monitor and report staff performance regularly, highlighting high performers and addressing concerns (e.g. removal of underperformers from future shifts).Ensure prompt removal of departing staff from internal systems including the UK WhatsApp group, RotaCloud, and SumUp.3. Scheduling & CoordinationPrepare monthly staff rotas in advance, with each rota completed before the end of the previous month.Identify and address any scheduling gaps and work closely with the recruitment team to ensure adequate staffing coverage.Take ownership of onboarding all new staff into operational systems, including SumUp.4. Venue & Client Relationship ManagementMaintain ongoing, professional communication with all client venues.Ensure clients are kept informed of any relevant updates or changes and respond promptly to feedback or concerns.Actively seek opportunities to secure additional event bookings and maintain positive, long-term relationships with venue partners.5. Flexibility & TravelYou may be required to travel on short notice to client venues in the event of staffing gaps or operational issues where no other solution is available.In such cases, all necessary travel and accommodation expenses will be covered by the business.
