Specialty PA – Urology The closing date is 26 March 2026.An exciting opportunity for a Specialty PA in Urology for a 6‑month maternity cover.Working as part of a team the post‑holder will provide a high quality administrative service to consultants and their teams. You will be a conscientious and enthusiastic team player with excellent organisational and communication skills, well‑motivated and reliable.Main duties of the job In addition to the summary you need to familiarise yourself with the full Job Description and Person Specification documents attached.You will be able to understand and accurately convey verbal and written information and remain calm under pressure. You will work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of a busy department.Accurately transcribe clinical letters using BigHand, producing high quality work within defined deadlines.The successful applicant will have obtained 5 GCSE passes, which will include English Language and Maths at grade C or above, will have a word processing or typing qualification (or experience); NVQ level 3 in Administration or equivalent experience.The successful applicant will have excellent audio typing skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft packages. Work‑based experience within a hospital or health‑care setting is desirable but not essential.About us The Specialty PA is an integral part of the Urology team.
