Then look no further EC&I Technician Salary : 37,477 - 51,531 Hours : 38 hours per week Location & Postcode : Eastcroft EFW, NG2 3JH As an EC&I Technician at FCC Environment, you will: Provide corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance across all areas of the process. You will work closely with the Maintenance Engineer and other departments to ensure the maintenance department delivers a safe, effective, and efficient service to operations. This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week. Our promise to you - Competitive salary - 25 days annual leave (full-time) plus Bank Holidays - Pension scheme - Life insurance - Discretionary bonus scheme - On the job training and progression - Recognition scheme - Refer a friend - Flexible benefits including high street savings, cycle to work scheme, Gymflex membership, and more (where applicable) - Access to an Employee Assistance Programme and the Best Doctors Service via our Wellbeing Platform What will you be doing? - Implementing and executing all corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance - Developing and maintaining the site CMMS, working with the Maintenance Manager and Team Leaders - Assisting in developing maintenance strategies to increase plant availability - Planning and supporting all planned outages, ensuring schedules and maintenance programmes are completed on time and within budget - Supervising and liaising with subcontractors as required - Deputising for the Maintenance Engineer when needed - Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company procedures and regulations - Proactively identifying and suggesting improvements for energy performance and safety What are we looking for? - ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification - C&G Parts 1 & 2 and up-to-date 18th Edition Regulations knowledge; C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing is a plus - Experience with 11kV operations (desirable) - Strong understanding of variable speed drives, controls, and instrumentation (e.g. temperature, pressure, level, CEMS) - Skilled in fault-finding, repair, and design of instrumentation/control systems (Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, SCADA) - Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems - PC literate, with Ethernet (copper/fibre, POE) experience and ability to diagnose/repair PCs to component level - Competent in generating, reading, and editing electrical drawings - Experience with PAT testing, sourcing spares, and maintaining plant records - Completion of relevant Competency Management System modules and required training - Ability to organise and supervise electrical works for site teams and contractors - Proactive, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team About Us We are FCC Environment, one of the UKs leading waste and resource management companies.
