3 month Hybrid Credit Controller Role - East NottinghamshireLocation: Nottinghamshire (3 days in office, 2 days WFH) ⌚Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 (pro rata) Contract Type: Temporary (3 months) Reporting To: Senior Credit Controller/ Credit Manager Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a short-term opportunity in a dynamic accountancy firm? We’re recruiting for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join a friendly finance team and help manage customer accounts, reduce aged debt, and support cash flow. Key Responsibilities: Proactively chase outstanding payments via phone, email, and letter. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment statuses. Resolve invoice and payment queries efficiently. Monitor customer accounts and escalate issues when necessary. Assist in preparing aged debt reports. Build strong working relationships with internal teams and customers. Requirements: Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (basic formulas and spreadsheet management). Familiarity with accounting systems. Able to work independently and collaboratively.
