Contracts Manager

Due to increased workload, there is an opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team. Company HighlightsPrivately owned, successful, and local main contractor Exciting growth and progression plans for employees Local, dynamic, and varied projects Collaborative, team-oriented culture Role OverviewAs a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for large-scale projects valued at circa £20m, supported by a site delivery team to ensure quality and progress. You will manage 1-2 larger projects across the Midlands, including new build and refurbishment schemes, and be involved in planning aspects. Key ResponsibilitiesManaging the efficient and economical execution of contracts under main contract conditions to maximize returns and promote ongoing and future work Collaborating with Project Managers and delivery teams to ensure accurate construction, quality, and progress Providing guidance and support throughout pre-construction and construction phases Promoting an inclusive workplace that encourages diversity of thought, backgrounds, and experience Managing multiple projects concurrently with a proactive and positive approach Candidate RequirementsProven track record as a Contracts Manager in a main contracting environment, delivering similar projects Proactive, positive, and confident communicator at all levels Strong communication and delegation skills Experience with projects including refurbishment, fit-out, and new build valued between £10m and £20m Good understanding of building regulations and local authority agreements Methodical, professional, and collaborative approach Organizational skills and ability to create positive, organized sites Certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, Temporary Works Knowledge of contract law and conditions Commercial awareness with a focus on health 'safety and risk management Understanding of planning processes and Asta software Additional InformationAtkins Search is recruiting for this Contracts Manager role in Nottingham.
