Job Description MS664 - PCV MechanicLocation: NottinghamSalary: 21.39 per hourOverview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking PCV Mechanic on behalf of one of clients. Applications from HGV Mechanics will also be given due consideration.Hours of Work:37 hours a week (with 30 minutes unpaid meal break). Sunday to Saturday, 5 from 7; varying hours on a rotating shift pattern (Earlies 05:30 to 13:30, Lates (13:00 to 21:00).Duties & Responsibilities:To maintain, inspect, diagnose, repair and test mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.To carry out any repairs as necessary to ensure safe and roadworthy vehicles to a high standard of reliability and quality.Carry out any reasonable maintenance activities.Adhere to health & safety standards.Skills & Qualifications:Have a strong work ethic and understand the need to be reliable and flexible.Full UK driving licence.PCV driving licence is desired however training may be considered for the right candidate.Experience of Cummins & Scania drivetrain & electrical systems.Experience of modern electrical systems & OEM diagnostic systems.At least 3 years post qualifying experience ideally in a main dealer or PSV workshop.Holder of a recognised apprenticeship qualification (City and Guilds or NVQ level 3).Location: NottinghamSalary: 21.39 per hourJBRP1_UKTJ
