Dutton Recruitment (Sheffield Engineering) are currently recruiting:We are looking for Mechanical Maintenance Fitters for permanent positions in Newark for immediate starts.Salary is circa 49,000 per annum and will be working on a 4 on, 4 off, shift rotation (Days and nights)Responsibilities:Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of site assetsWork closely with production teams to maximise utilisation of equipmentCarry out planned preventative maintenance via the CMMS system, HolistechRespond to breakdowns using structured fault-finding techniquesEnsure all work is completed in compliance with SOPs and legislationSupport continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projectsDrive efficiency, energy awareness and cost-effective solutionsComplete all relevant statutory and maintenance documentationRequirements:Mechanical engineering background with hands on industrial experienceApprentice trained to NVQ Level 3Experience working within a manufacturing or process environmentProven fault finding and breakdown response skillsUnderstanding of xjdpvnf health and safety legislation and responsibilitiesStrong communication skills, both written and verbalHighly motivated and supportive team playerAble to work independently without immediate supervisionOpen to further personal development in line with the company training planDutton Recruitment are working as an Employment Business on behalf of our client.
