HR Business Partner Location: Norwich office 4 days per week, 1 day from home Salary: Competitive Were Citation Group. Were looking for a commercial HR generalist to play an integral role in our HR team and business. You will be working closely with assigned areas of the business to deliver the People Plan and their basic HR needs. You will be expected to maintain a commercial view of people practices, ensuring we make the right decisions for our people that drive strong business outcomes and commercial results. Youll help them drive change, support rapid business growth and support on a variety of ambitious and exciting projects all while making sure our culture is nurtured and developed. This is a true generalist position, day to day responsibilities will include: Working proactively and enthusiastically with your business area to deliver the People Plan, support key HR initiatives and help foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. Taking full ownership of understanding the priorities, challenges, and performance drivers within your business area. Using HR data and metrics to identify trends, highlight risks, and uncover opportunities for meaningful improvements. Equipping managers with the tools, guidance and confidence to lead effectively - championing internal L&D programmes and creating engaging support materials. Acting as the go-to HR partner for your business area, advising on all people matters including: Grievances, disciplinaries, redundancy, long term sick, disputes, colleague wellbeing including maternity / paternity. Collaborating with the wider HR team to improve administrative processes, ensure compliance, and protect the business from risk. Partnering with leaders to strengthen and evolve our culture - ensuring we continue to achieve top-quartile engagement scores. Supporting the future of reward and recognition by contributing to the development of benefits, pay initiatives, and working closely with payroll. Getting stuck into a variety of ad hoc projects from integrations to diversity and inclusion initiatives, driving positive change and innovation. The person Were not your everyday HR department and were not looking for your everyday HR person. Its fast paced and always changing so you need to be up for the challenge, always ready to adapt and get stuck in. Whilst its all about the people were not pink and fluffy, youll need to demonstrate your commercial edge too. Youll have experience of dealing with a wide range of ER issues and feel comfortable dealing with issues from basics to complex issues. Youre always learning and developing you might not have all the answers yet and youre willing to learn and give it a try. Were always looking for ways to improve our processes to create a better experience for colleagues so youll show initiative and come up with new ideas on how we can do this.
