Youll be setting, operating, and editing programs on 4-axis and 6-axis CNC milling machines, producing high-accuracy components for the advanced manufacturing and motorsport sectors. Key ResponsibilitiesSet, operate, and edit programs on 4-axis and 6-axis CNC millsRead and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsMachine components ranging from 100mm to 2000mm DIAConduct in-process inspections using micrometers, verniers, and gaugesMaintain quality standards, accuracy, and productivity levelsPerform basic maintenance and ensure a safe, clean workspaceFollow all company and H&S proceduresRequirementsTime-served or apprentice-trained CNC MillerExperience with Heidenhain, Fanuc, ISO, or Siemens controlsStrong attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerancesCapable of self-inspection and working independentlyNVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical or Manufacturing EngineeringExperience working with exotic materials is advantageousDesirable:Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Fusion 360, Mastercam)Background in prototype or small-batch workUnderstanding of additional machining processes (turning, grinding, manual milling)Whats on Offer34,200 per year + overtime opportunities4-day working week (MonThurs) long weekends!Permanent position with genuine career stabilityModern, high-standard workshop environmentInterested?
