About the Role: Driver Hire Norwich is actively recruiting HGV Class 1 Tanker Drivers for a long-term contract with a prestigious client in the food logistics sector. Youll be operating food-grade tankers across Norfolk, with immediate starts available. Tanker experience is not essential as full training will be provided. We have flexible shifts for Class 1 HGV Drivers Including: Days / Nights / Tramping Monday to Friday / Weekend Work ASAP Start Dates The Successful HGV Driver - Class 1 can expect: 18.25 21.25 per hour (Umbrella Assignment Rate) PAYE & PAYE Advanced Pay Schemes Available Minimum Guaranteed Hours Paid Flexible Shifts Work when it suits you Full training provided ideal for drivers looking to transition into tanker work or upskill Holiday Pay & Pension Contributions Available Ongoing long-term contract consistent work and income As a HGV - Class 1 you must have: Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence Valid CPC & Digital Tacho Card 12 months experience preferred but not essential for the right candidate No more than 6 points (No CD, IN, DD or DR endorsements) Strong understanding of Driver Hours & WTR regulations Given the nature of this position it would be suitable for: LGV Drivers, Tanker Drivers, HGV Drivers or Heavy goods vehicle drivers with a Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
