Job Description Overview: Residential Childcare Assessor / TutorAn opportunity to join an innovative and rapidly growing training provider, we are looking for an experienced Residential Childcare professional to join their successful team. You will be delivering CYP Residential Childcare apprenticeships to learners, mainly working remotely from home.The successful candidate will need to have at least 2 years' occupational experience in a Residential Childcare setting and a L3 or above Residential Childcare qualification. Ideally you will already hold an assessor award, teaching qualification and have previous experience delivering apprenticeships in CYP / Residential Childcare. Duties: Residential Childcare Assessor / Tutor Train, assess, motivate and support Residential Childcare learners on programmes towards achieving CYP / Residential Childcare Apprenticeship qualificationsMaximise the use of e-learning and using a variety of assessment methods to ensure learners have the chance to evidence their knowledge in a variety of ways.Support, develop, implement and evaluate approved Residential Childcare training materials, promoting standardisation, use approved training methods to develop the learner and utilise every opportunity to supporting them to achieving their qualification in a timely manner.Ensure the highest standards of learner completions are met and to monitor candidates progress, including carrying out regular progression reviews/additional support reviews.Qualifications and Competencies: Residential Childcare Assessor / Tutor A minimum 2 years' occupational experience within a Residential Childcare settingA L3 or above qualification in Residential ChildcareExperience delivering Residential Childcare apprenticeships Assessor Award - TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33 Teaching qualification (desirable)IQA (desirable)Excellent communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and manage own diary Full UK Driving LicenseSalary/Benefits: Residential Childcare Assessor / Tutor Salary 28-33K depending on qualifications and experience Bonus schemeFull travel expenses (paid from home)Work tools providedExcellent employee benefits packageOpportunity for career progression and personal developmentJBRP1_UKTJ
