Family Solicitor - Norwich

Job Description The RoleWe are seeking a driven and ambitious Solicitor to join our Family Law team in Norwich. This is a client-facing role offering an excellent opportunity for someone keen to establish themselves, build their practice and caseload and contribute to the growth of our Family team.You will manage your own caseload independently, while also working alongside senior colleagues on more complex matters to support your development. Youll be expected to use your initiative to actively progress cases and deliver high-quality legal services to our clients.Were looking for someone who is a confident networker and enthusiastic about business development, with a genuine interest in growing their profile and contributing to the firms success.Key responsibilities include:Conducting initial free consultations and providing clear, comprehensive legal adviceDrafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondenceAdvising on costs and preparing Letters of EngagementManaging client communications and queriesAttending court hearings independently and in support of other lawyersPreparing bundles for hearings and conferencesBooking counsel and other experts as requiredManaging disbursement funding and invoice processingMaintaining accurate client records and financial hygiene across mattersCompleting internal risk assessments and audits in a timely and accurate mannerKnowledge, Skills and Experience:You will have experience across the full range of family law matters, including:Family Law Act proceedingsFinancial remediesChildren mattersSome experience with pre- and post-nuptial agreements is desirable, but full training will be provided.About YouIdeally, you will have a minimum of four years post-qualification experience in family law, gained within a similar legal environment. Youll be client-focused, commercially aware and committed to delivering excellent service.
