Job summary Applications are invited for the post of a full-time head and neck radiologist at the Department of Radiology at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.The Department forms part of one of the most dynamic University Teaching Hospitals in the country, with an excellent reputation in patient care, research and development, and staff training/education.A candidate who is unable for personal reasons to undertake the duties of a whole‑time post will receive equal consideration. The Trust operates job share and flexible working.Main duties of the job The candidate would be expected to be proficient in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional head and neck radiology, including plain film, US, CT (including CBCT) and MRI.Other duties would include supporting our fluoroscopic radiographers with vetting and reporting sialograms and our head and neck sonographers with reviewing neck ultrasound images.The candidate would be expected to take part in the head and neck and thyroid MDTs as well as the clinicoradiological meetings including the parathyroid meeting.This is a big teaching trust with a radiology academy and it would be expected that the candidate would take part in the ST part 2 teaching programme on a Thursday pm in the head and neck modules.The successful candidate would participate in the general on‑call rota, support MDTs, research and teaching.
