Job Description Internal Boat BuilderOur prestigious, manufacturing client within the Marine and Luxury Yacht industry, are currently seeking multiple Internal Boat Builders who will aid the Internal building of their yachts.This is a full time, permanent position, based in Wroxham.Knowledge, Skills & Experience:Robust boatbuilding construction knowledgeCompetent manufacturing knowledge (timber, fibreglass products as an example)Knowledge of safe working practices and good understanding of Health and SafetyRelevant C&G Qualifications or equivalentExcellent communication skillsSkilled use of hand and power toolsReading and understanding technical drawingsExperience of working with raw materials and tools to a good standardPrevious experience in the marine industry working withtimber/GRP boats(Desirable)This crucial role within the business reports to the Boat Builder Manager, and will be responsible for making and fitting various components across our clients range of boats, working to precise measurements and details.Key Job Responsibilities:Fitting ply bulkheads.Epoxy lay-up of sub-assemblies.Making and fitting cabin sole bearers.Cladding bulkheads with polished veneered ply.Making and fitting a variety of boat furniture.Making and fitting sole boards.Basic upholstery work on overhead panels etc.Making and hanging cabin doors.Levelling BoatsOur clientsoffers flexible working! As follows:Working a Monday Friday, 40 hour week our client offers flexible working with enhanced rates and incentives available.
