Our Norwich Regional Hub is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to carry out high-quality repairs and maintenance on a variety of rotating equipment.Salary & BenefitsBand 2: 15.77/hr - 31,981.50/yearBand 3: 17.37/hr - 35,209.52/year Band 4: 18.79/hr - 38,093.52/year Overtime Opportunities:1.5x (Mon-Sat), 2x (Sun)Voluntary Call-Out Rota:Typically 1 in 5 pattern25/day (Mon-Fri), 50/day (Weekend) + minimum 4 hours paid at overtime ratesAdditional 40 payout if supporting another engineer during call-outWorking HoursMonday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:30pmFriday: 8:00am - 3:30pmLunch Break: 30 minutesTotal: 39 hours per weekKey ResponsibilitiesRepair and service a wide range of industrial rotating equipment:AC/DC Motors, Motorised Gearboxes, Pumps, Fan Units, Generators, etc.Diagnose faults and repair or replace worn/damaged componentsConduct basic electrical testing (training and assessment provided)Work on jobs varying in size - from small fans to large mill motorsParticipate in a voluntary call-out rota as part of a teamOccasionally travel to sites using a company-provided vehicleMaintain high health 'safety standards at all timesEssential RequirementsFull UK Driving Licence (Clean & Valid)NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC, City & Guilds, or Time-Served equivalentStrong practical mechanical engineering backgroundCapable of interpreting engineering technical drawingsPhysically fit to meet role demandsManual machining/lathe experience advantageousCCNSG Safety Passport and site experience preferredIf interested please apply today.
