You will:Lead the development offire strategiesfor complex and higher-risk buildingsProvide expert technical assurance and act as the senior point of professional judgementGuide, mentor and support surveyors and junior fire engineersOversee on-site inspections and ensure high-quality documentation and complianceLead discussions with Building Control, Fire Authorities and regulatory bodiesManage national travel to multiple project locations as requiredEssential Criteria (Non-Negotiable)You must be able to demonstrate the following:Chartered Engineer (CEng)registered with theEngineering CouncilAccreditedFire Engineering (BEng/MEng)or related degreeMIFireE (or higher)professional membership, or equivalentMinimum10 years post-graduatefire engineering experienceProven experience delivering strategies for complex, high-risk or multi-storey buildingsExperience working nationally with regular site and client visitsCompetency Alignment (UK-SPEC & IFE)Knowledge & UnderstandingAdvanced fire engineering principlesExpert understanding of UK fire legislation, Approved Documents, BS standardsDesign, Development & Problem SolvingProduce proportionate, compliant fire strategiesResolve issues related to means of escape, external walls, compartmentation, occupancy riskLeadership & ResponsibilityLead national fire engineering deliveryMentor and develop junior engineersProvide sound technical assurance and decision-makingCommunicationExplain complex technical matters clearly to clients, regulators and teamsLead regulatory discussions confidentlyProfessional CommitmentMaintain CPD, uphold professional ethics and safety standardsApply TodayThis is an outstanding opportunity for a Chartered Fire Engineer seeking a senior, impactful role with a growing UK consultancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
