Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs required in Norfolk. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the needs we support. We are on a mission to transform the quality of education provided to young people with SEN/SEND, as well as other needs such as SEMH. We work with children and young people with MLD and SLD and provide 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner. At Targeted Provision our mission is to raise the standard of educational support offered to vulnerable young people in the UK. You will be supported throughout every placement by our team of SEN / SEND Support Specialists and the team around the child. What We Offer Our SEN / SEND TutorsFlexible part-time up to full-time hours to suit your schedule Occasional opportunities to take on remote jobs and online teaching assignments and work from home Extensive CPD and upskilling opportunities, including access to the full TES CPD suite while working with us A SEN / SEND Support Team dedicated to keeping a team around the child, and ensuring that every placement is a success for the young person and you Invitation to join our tutor community to share best practice, resources, and tips A place as part of a child-centred company committed to transforming the world of support for vulnerable young people The SEN / SEND Tutor roleProvide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs referred to Targeted Provision Work with learners referred by local authorities and schools, supporting educational and social-emotional development Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring Tasks and responsibilitiesPlan each tutoring/mentoring session Deliver holistic, engaging sessions tailored to the learner’s needs Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress RequirementsProfessional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS) Minimum 2 years teaching experience Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs Knowledge of safeguarding processes Enhanced DBS (assistance with obtaining at cost if needed) Two professional references UK residency and right to work (including remote/online work) It is a strict requirement to promote health, safety and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies at all times.
