Asphalt Testing Technician

You'll be working for a national, but family owned aggregates organisation who do everything from quarrying stone to pouring concrete and they are searching for an Asphalt Testing Technician in and around the Norwich area. This is an 18-24 month Fixed Term Contract however there is opportunity for the role to become permanent. What's the package? Circa 34k per annum 25 days AL plus bank holidays Pension and life insurance If you are located outside of area, hotel / food will be fully paid for! 18-24 Month FTC What will you be doing? Working in a lab environment you'll be using machines to test the strength of asphalt and other aggregate samples and recording the results. You'll need to be very experienced in asphalt testing already, being able to hit the ground running is key. A full UK driving license is required. Detail and accuracy are essential, the results you record have big implications for safety and profits. If there's a problem, you need to be able to communicate it accurately to managers.
