Senior Marine Environmental Consultant

Job Description ABOUT YOU As the Marine Environmental Consultant, you will be undertaking and managing a range of environmental studies, including EIA, SEA and HRA. It will be varied, across a portfolio of projects and sectors including subsea cables, offshore renewables, and oil and gas - ensuing consultancy solutions that are sustainable, as we transition to a low carbon future.Required skills and experience:Degree/Masters in a relevant discipline (environmental sciences or similar)Skilled in ornithology, underwater sound, marine ecology, marine mammals or fish and shellfish assessmentsDemonstratable project management and client account experienceTrack record of liaison with regulators and other stakeholdersDemonstrable experience delivering consenting and environmental assessment solutions in the marine energy / industry sectorsStrong technical, analytical, organisational and communication skills.Additional Desirable Skills:8+ years' experience in a relevant disciplineExperience in preparing successful tender submissionsExperience in mentoring junior consultantsProfessional ChartershipABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY This role requires well developed technical expertise and experience of permitting and consenting processs, as well as excellent project management skills.
