Clerk to the Governors

We are looking to appoint a Clerk to the Governors on a part time, permanent basis. The post holder will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance of the school by providing independent support and advice to the Chair and Governing Body. The post holder will also provide professional administrative support to the Governing Body, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and will facilitate the smooth and efficient operation of governance procedures. The salary for this role is 13,738 per annum. The post holder will work 15 hours a week, over 38 weeks per annum (term time plus 4 weeks). Working pattern will be agreed with the line manager. Flexibility in working hours and pattern is required to meet the changing needs of the school. We have a strategic aim and commitment to increase the diversity of our staff body.
