You will play a pivotal role influencing design decisions, leading engineering teams, and engaging directly with key stakeholders.If you enjoy solving challenging engineering problems, mentoring others, and delivering to the highest industry standards, this role offers both autonomy and impact within a dynamic project environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead structural engineering delivery across offshore platform projectsAct as technical authority, approving calculations, analyses, and designsManage planning, resourcing, and execution of engineering scopesPerform and review advanced structural analyses (fatigue, seismic, dynamic, installation)Ensure compliance with API, DNV, ISO, and AWS standardsLead design reviews, risk assessments, and technical governance activitiesCoordinate multi-discipline interfaces and subcontract engineering scopesEngage with clients, IVBs, and classification bodiesSupport fabrication, loadout, transportation, and installation phasesMentor and develop junior engineers within project teamsQualifications & RequirementsDegree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical or related disciplineChartered Engineer status or working towards chartership preferredSignificant offshore oil & gas or energy sector experienceStrong background in offshore structures (jackets, topsides, subsea)Proven leadership experience managing engineering teamsExpertise in SACS (essential) and other FEA tools (desirable)Strong knowledge of industry design codes and standardsExperience in client-facing technical rolesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently in fast-paced project environmentsWhats in it for youThe oil and gas sector continues to offer long-term career stability, exposure to large-scale global projects, and opportunities to work at the forefront of engineering innovation.
